This album consists of thirty drone noise walls (each between 45 and 48 minutes long) by myself, and fifty photographs by begonona.

Both projects have worked towards the creation of an intimate and melancholic work.

Important in both projects was a sense of physicality.

I've tried to accomplish this by making the walls purposely minimal, so that the actual tape hiss is always audible. The tape hiss as the pulse, the body; and the actual wall as the voice, the soul.

begonona has accomplished this by "undressing" the same flowers from all different angles possible. The close-ups of such delicate flowers in bloom seem to conjure a sense of fragile exposure, still too weak and unfinished to be shot.
